This is all true at our pool.

I didn’t realize there were pools where A meet swimmers weren’t allowed to swim in B meets. Our B meets are for everybody. But very few kids get to swim in the A meets.[/quote]

If you score points in the A meet you are prohibited from swimming the b meet.  They aren’t for everyone. [/quote]

Our B meet rule is that if you placed 1st or 2nd in the A meet, you can swim one event that you didn’t swim on Saturday, but it’s unofficial (you cannot place at the B meet, but a good time would count for the ladder). If you placed 3rd you can swim 2 other events for place.  Plenty of our top 2 finishers come to B meets to swim something, especially if IMs are an option. [/quote]
