It’s off topic but I can’t let this slide. Overlee [b]invented[/b] NVSL recruiting, and I imagine any number of upper division teams who don’t have geographic membership boundaries do it as well.[/quote]

Swimmers for Overlee have to get through the regular, years long waitlist to swim for the team. There isn’t a special number to call to bypass the waitlist, team members “visiting from Maryland for the summer”, special swim team memberships, etc.[/quote]

Is Overlee a pool with geographic boundaries?  My guess is the poster was referring to the idea that you can be from any zip code and swim(as opposed to our pool where the bylaws require you to live in a certain geographic area).  We notice a lot of club coaches coach for the non-boundaries pool and “recruit” the club swimmers who swim in the winter to swim for them in the summer.  [/quote]
