[/quote] The sad part about this is that AAP is just accelerated academically, not a gifted program, so FCPS saying that her parent package didn't sufficiently show giftedness is a farce. How about giving kids the appropriate academic challenge and stop this nonsense of having to show "giftedness" via parent submissions. Having said that, OP, I think your kid will still have a decent peer group in gen ed at Floris. Just make sure your DC is in the accelerated math track. [/quote]
