Anyone else find it ironic that Amber Jamieson (the author who couldn't spell the name of a DOJ Prosecutor in the only known link referenced by Jeff of notice by Awan's traveling to Pakistan) didn't get press credentials to attend the Huntington Rally the other night? I thought legitimate press can easily get credentials to attend political rallies? https://twitter.com/ambiej/status/893238251896672256
That Tweet doesn't say that she was denied press credentials. Could you also try to stay on topic instead of branching off into other stories that you report incorrectly?
I will gladly stay on topic, however the source of your quote isn't collaborated with any other reputable media source and Gowen's own statement referenced above. Its obvious to see where Ms Jamieson and her political bias lies in her own tweets (my favorite was the Russian adopted child in WVA), her credibility is dubious and her spelling is worse than mine (which doesn't say much). Besides, if you look at Luke Rosiak at the Daily Caller's tweeter feed, you don't see political bias at all. #ConsiderTheSource https://twitter.com/lukerosiak
I have said multiple times that if you don't believe Awan's lawyer's statement (if the reporter lied about what the lawyer said, I'm sure he would have corrected it), then don't believe it. The only issue here is the nature of Awan's leaving the country. You may not accept that he notified the DOJ. But, you still have no evidence that he was "fleeing". The bottom line is that it is unfair to say -- as the subject line of this thread does -- that he was fleeing. At this point, you can only say that he was leaving under circumstances that are unclear. I can't believe that I've had to argue this simple point for so many pages.
