That Tweet doesn't say that she was denied press credentials. Could you also try to stay on topic instead of branching off into other stories that you report incorrectly?
I will gladly stay on topic, however the source of your quote isn't collaborated with any other reputable media source and Gowen's own statement referenced above. Its obvious to see where Ms Jamieson and her political bias lies in her own tweets (my favorite was the Russian adopted child in WVA), her credibility is dubious and her spelling is worse than mine (which doesn't say much). Besides, if you look at Luke Rosiak at the Daily Caller's tweeter feed, you don't see political bias at all. #ConsiderTheSource

"According to court documents, federal prosecutors, and former CIA case officer Philip Giraldi, the Awans owed $100,000 to an international fugitive linked to Hezbollah."
This caught my eye on one of the links shared on this forum.
Given that I'm being berated about sources, do you have a link to your source for this?
I can help with this:

No fan of DWS here. However, FWIW, there is no "the" Assistant US Attorney in the US Attorney's office. There is a "First Attorney" who is the second in command (and is also an assistant US Atty) and there are many, many assistant US Attorneys. I don't know how many are in the DC office of the US Attorney, but I would think it could be around 100.
Now, her brother should not have anything to do with this case. If he does, there is a problem.
Totally corrupted.
Who would even allow that??
It is not clear that anyone is allowing it. It looks like Michael Marando is doing the investigation, not Steven Wasserman.
The actual facts of the matter should be exposed, no?

"Mr. Awan’s family is presently staying with extended family in Pakistan because he and his wife were both abruptly and unjustly fired, leaving them without a reliable source of income to pay typical U.S. living expenses,
Awan was fired "after" he was arrested. I omitted the harassment quotes, but you get the gist of it.
The government had been informed he would travel and had stated no objection.
You said the DOJ prosecutor was notified, yet the "Government" includes DWS. Show me a link where the DOJ prosecutor not objecting to his vacation? You can't and that's Fake News
Here is my source about the DOJ:
https://www.buzzfeed.com/amberjamieson/imran-awan-arrest
Awan had previously alerted his employer and Michael Morando, a US Department of Justice attorney who is the prosecutor of the original procurement investigation, of his plans to travel to Pakistan and visit his wife and children, Gowen said.
If the DOJ objected, there is no evidence that they did so.
Awan's family left after his wife was fired. Awan worked for several members of Congress. All but DWS fired him. Neither of those statements are lies.
If your standard is "facts", then please stick to them.

You are welcome to offer that advice to the lawyer. As for me, I will not avoid reacting to the anti-Muslim bias that I see here.
Let me tell you something, pal. Muslims are no less answerable to the law than anyone else in this country, regardless of your interest in holding them on some pedestal as above everyone else.
Just asking for a single standard. The fact that Awan is Muslim is irrelevant to his alleged crimes. Anyone who uses his religion as a reason to suspect his guilt is a bigot.
I'm thinking his family association to Hezbollah is relevant to his alleged life of criminal activities.
That depends on the details. Unfortunately, the poster who made that allegation has been unable to support it with a link so we are unable to find the details.
BTW, this brings me to another point. Do you think EVRYTHING is posted on the internet? If it's not posted on the internet, did it not happen?

Philip Giraldi, a former CIA officer, wrote that Attar "was observed in Beirut, Lebanon conversing with a Hezbollah official" in 2012–shortly after the loan was made. Attar has also been accused of helping provoke the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq as a leader of Iraqi dissidents opposed to Saddam Hussein.
