My son, a lacrosse player, doesn't go to Landon.  He attends another IAC school.

You are wrong about Landon.  They continue to be a nationally ranked top 10 team and the top ranked boys Varsity lacrosse team in the IAC .  The current rankings (and the UA rankings are conisdered to be "the" ranking):

Interesting, but you are missing the point.

When the poster above said "reign" he was not referring to a one year pre-season ranking. But instead, he was referring to the period of Landon dominance of the League in which until the mid 1990's they dominated the league (except fpr STA in a single year). It was Prep who finally matched them after Giblin became GP coach and had his own Landon-like middle school lacrosse program to produce a stream of players that could catch and throw the lacrosse ball.

The kind of reign that is being suggested is one in which a single school, wins the IAC title for 5, 10 or 20 years. Not a single year.
