Weird.[/quote] I signed up and never heard anything. Our teacher made it clear she didn't want volunteers in the classroom. As a parent, I find it very uncomfortable that my child's classroom is so closed off, especially in a public school. Needless to say, when she does need stuff, since I volunteered and it was made clear we were not wanted, I'm not going out of my way to help. Its sad you have parents ready and willing and are not welcomed in the school. Its sad our PTA claims they cannot get help with tasks so they are paying people to do them when we would have happily (and technically did) volunteer and could easily do what was needed and more.
