The reason is that out of all the affluent schools in NW, Janney is the most affluent.  It's human nature for the masses to not like the most affluent.  It's the reason why lots of people "hate" Microsoft.  [/quote]

Yet Janney has a tick lower % of FARM.  Both pretty negligible but Janney has a lower % with 2x the enrollment.

The other schools have generally had, up until now, larger percentages of OOB students. Janney was the first to have virtually no one who is OOB. Now more of the rest of the Ward 3 schools are trending in that direction.

Not true.  Mann always had fewer.  In fact, Mann was the one school that was able to delay being forced into ending at 5th grade (some WOTP schools used to go to 6th) for an extra year or so.  That's because all the IB students didn't want to go to Hardy, but Mann has always had more political pull.  They're just subtle about it.  It's like they're Kennedys and prefer privacy and discretion whereas the Janney folks are like Kardashians.  They JUST WON"T SHUT UP.[/quote]
