If the grout between tiles is sealed, then the water will just sit on tile almost indefinitely, whereas water will warp hardood and seep between the planks. Of course, if your dishwasher is sitting on the subfloor, the water directly underneath the dishwasher will warp the subfloor, but many diswashers will spill water in front of it, not just underneath.[/quote]
