And those of us arguing for registration, training and licensing also agree that everyone is entitled to the right to bear arms, but that they need to be registered and trained.  Registration, licensing and mandatory classes do not prevent you from owning a gun unless you fail the gun course, in which case you are welcome to take it again, just like a driver's license test.

The founders did not have to worry about this because in that day and age, everyone learned to fire arms when they were young and so the idea of an untrained gun owner was unimaginable.  Not so today.[/quote]
