No they are not. You're obviously too stupid to realize the criminals are just going to grab the guns anyway. So no you're not 100% preventable Gilly thing you're preventing have a law-abiding citizens ability to defend himself[/quote]

The sad thing is that you got the "bad guys will get them anyway" argument from our actual elected lawmakers. What a sorry state this country is in when our elected lawmakers are saying "why make laws. The bad guys will break 'em anyway." Guess what. Not every would-be criminal has the connections and resources to acquire a gun illegally. If they attempt to, there's at least a chance they will be caught in the process. That's how laws work.

And enough with the "it only punishes the law abiding citizens" argument too. How many times do we need to point out that law abiding citizens would get to keep their gun! Nobody is talking about a gun ban or confiscation.

Yawn. I wish you guys would come up with some new arguments. These are getting so old. Next are you guys going to say "if guns kill, then spoons make us fat?" Because that's another compelling and insightful point that you all seem so proud of.
