I agree with you. :)  I hope my thoughts below don't spoil anything for you since you haven't finished the series yet.

- I liked Samantha and Charlotte, too. :)  
- I couldn't stand Miranda until the very end of season 6, when she suddenly became tolerable (when she helped out with Steve's mom and told Big to go get "our girl" in Paris).
- Carrie was okay, but not my favorite.

[u]The boyfriends/husbands:[/u]
[b]Carrie's boyfriends:[/b]
- Even though he could be an ass at times, I usually liked Big.  :o
- I couldn't stand Petrovsky.
- Aidan was okay, but not my favorite.
- I couldn't stand that Jack Berger (Ron Livingston) character.  Ugh.

- I actually liked Smith!
- I didn't like Richard.

[b]Charlotte's boyfriends/husbands:[/b]
- I couldn't stand Trey.  He was a big baby.
- I adored Harry.  He was a really nice guy!

- I liked Steve.  I felt bad for him because Miranda treated him so badly.
- I didn't like Robert, the doctor (Blair Underwood)

- I found Stanford annoying, but endearing.
- I also found Anthony annoying, but funny.

I like Big, too, and am excited to see when Petrovsky shows up on the scene.  I don't mind Trey -- he's nice enough, but he blows things out of proportion and doesn't seem to deal with his problems in a healthy way, preferring to sulk.  His mom is a riot, but I don't understand the focus on being Scottish above all else.  Stanford is interesting -- he could surely dress better and make himself more fit/attractive, but it's like he chooses to sit in his mediocrity and complain how hot guys aren't attracted to him.  Was Anthony Charlotte's dress-picker?  I LOVE HIM!  Magda is a boss![/quote]
