When guests or workers come through, I clean after them.  I think it is completely inhospitable to ask guests or workers to take their shoes off and not only inhospitable but also unreasonable to ask a worker to take their shoes off while working in your house.  If the thought of dirty shoes in your shower really makes you want to vomit, you need to see a psychologist or psychiatrist for your OCD.  If someone were to work in my shower with dirty shoes, I'd wait until they left, then I would get the bathroom cleaner with bleach from the closet, spray it down, go do something for 10 minutes and come back and rinse it off.  How hard is that?  It's much better to clean up after someone than to be so rude to them as you were, OP.[/quote]
