[i]I'm[/i] paranoid about what ISIS might do.  But we can worry about terrorists and not let our fears cause us to demonize millions of other people who have nothing to do with the terrorists.

On another note, ISIS [i]wants[/i] the West to reject the refugees, which will alienate them from the West and drive them into the arms of ISIS.  Giving into fear by refusing entry to 10,000 refugees is only letting the terrorists win.  That's what the terrorists want in the long run.[/quote]

Exactly.  What does it say about our character as a nation that we let a tiny threat (and it's truly tiny) make us back off fast from humanitarian values?[/quote]
