45, woman, 115 pounds. I am not obsessed with food or my weight. However, I have always been thin. My doctor actually gave me a diet to gain weight when I was in my teens. I am healthy. I exercise regularly. I have a daily dozen exercises I do every other day, like 3 sets at 12 to 20 reps each of basic calisthenics, like squats, lunges, push ups, sit ups, biceps curls, etc. I walk my dog about 4X a day. I kayak. I swim. I enjoy being active. I also like to enjoy a nice meal or appetizers out once or twice a week. After my mid 20s, it just seems like people are so heavy. The best sex and relationship I ever had was with a man who was in the Honor Guard at Arlington Cemetery. He was fit and trim. It is challenging to say the least to find a man who is naturally thin.
OP, the problem may be that you are a judgmental narcissist. If you were a man, this would not be a huge problem. But a family cannot survive with two narcissist parents, and most men prefer that if either parent is to be selfish, it be them. Sexist, yes, but that's the sexist world we live in. You may be able to find a narcissistic athletic man your age who doesn't want kids. But, being a narcissist, he may prefer sub-30 arm candy. Alternatively you could find a loving, giving man your age, who will tolerate your narcissism. But, he is unlikely to be obsessed with his fitness unless his job depends on it. So I guess that brings us back to men whose jobs depend on it, millitary, firefighter, personal trainer...
