I think she has a lot of admirable qualities and she certainly knows how to write a catchy song- weirdly enough her songs were more poignant when she was just 15 years old but she's not stupid, she knows how to turn a phrase in a lyric and what will be a hit.

But I think the PP probably hit the nail on the head with her annoying qualities- these stars who had little or bad HS experiences because of teenage jealousy or whatever tend to try to re-create a HS dynamic where everyone has to recognize they are the queen bee in their 20s- the public feuding, etc. Its very young for her age. By the time my friends and I were out of college (her age now) 'ain't nobody got time for that shit' was pretty much the motto. The drama queens got booted from the island pretty damn quick. She's too old for this shit.[/quote]

That just seems crazily out of touch to me.  Her popularity will inevitably go down from its current crazy high -- that's bound to happen -- but I'm sure she'll continue making music and touring for at least another decade.  [/quote]
