it amazes me that some people can totally keep their heads in the sand. even if you don't listen to adult contemporary/r&b and you're from this area you should've at least met a black person who knows who donnie simpson is. local radio dj in this area for a most of the 80s/90s. left 93.9 five years ago and is now back on the air at 102.3.

Np here.  You sound ridiculous saying you probably know more about politics...than the PP. While you might be impressed with yourself, no need to judge others.  I'm a junkie when it comes to politics and international relations, and I listen to  NPR all the time, but I also know who Kane and Donnie Simpson are.  I don't think that makes me above or below anyone, it's just what I like.  Also, why are you on an entertainment thread ?  Shouldn't you be reading something of more substance?[/quote]

There's this little thing called "Recent Topics."  That's how.  After seeing a 'Why is Kane divorcing and he's crying right now" or whatever the thread was called up here for so many days and ignoring it, I did finally click on this one called, "Why is the Kane thread so long?" b/c I too was like, "Who the heck is Kane and what is going on?"[/quote]
