You still have not said what other steps the family has tried to take through the school? Every DCPS has a Bullying point of contact in the school, and certain reports are supposed to be filed. Also, it's a bit weird that this is coming up during the summer. Is the child in Summer school? You should say no no matter what, but I'd like to know if the family has formally claimed bullying at the school, and if they've tried to get a change of school through DCPS. If bullying was confirmed, that can be a legitimate reason for DCPS to change the school of the student. I'm seriously wondering if it's a real bullying situation... or just an effort to cut corners to get into a different school?[/quote]
