I've dealt with pretty crushing infertility and multiple rounds of IVF and I wouldn't for a second think of missing the party. Any event where your extended family gets together is so worth going to - it doesn't happen enough and the next time it happens it could be a funeral. Plus, infertility does have that tendency to take over your life when you are going through - so try to fight back. Plus, being a third child is a HUGE difference from primary or even secondary infertility. Really.[/quote]
