If you're of a certain age, and you've watched MS over the decades tackle demanding roles at different stages of her life, you may view her with more respect than someone younger who finds some of her more recent roles and/or current persona less than captivating. when I was young, actresses like Betty Davis and Katherine Hepburn were toward the end of their careers. Yet I could acknowledge what great actresses they were. I never thought dumb things like[b] their[/b] the last of the older generation’s great actresses.  They’re either great or not. Meryl Streep is among the most versatile and accomplished screen actresses ever. [/quote]
