And while I will not condemn an entire religion, I will speak out against oppressive and barbaric practices that are engaged in in the name of that religion. I also speak out in my own faith community about practices that are damaging or contradictory - like restricting access to birth control that could prevent the need for millions of abortions. I have no cognitive dissonance about any of this whatsoever. [/quote]
