You're reading into it. It's not about the money. You can buy huge plastic stuff at Target for cheap. She doesn't give higher quality stuff or better stuff.  It's more gimmicky and grabs attention or is the more commercialized stuff you'd see on ads on television, or stuff that doesn't let the kid use their imagination and they just sit there and the toy yammers at them.[/quote]
