He was ready, it was a piece of cake and took about 10 days to wean from both morning and night nursing.  One of us lies down with him on our bed to fall asleep then we pop him into the crib.  Takes about 30 min each night but we both are eager to be the bedtime person because who doesn't want toddler cuddles at the end of the day?  For naps, we lie down with him on a twin mattress in his room and then leave when he falls asleep.  We will probably transition to that at night before baby comes.[/quote]
