OP, got pregnant when my child was around 3 yo (if anyone would like to know - spare room was the scene of the conception). He was a cosleeper still. When baby first came we just moved baby in (baby on side of bed next to arm's reach (not in, because none of mine liked that separate surface) and then me, then DS then DH (king bed). But DH snoring work up the baby so he was soon kicked out.

Then my son realized that when baby woke up he would get woken up to. So then DH went and slept on DS's top bunk for a while, as the snoring never woken him, and of course, DS loved. Now we just have one of us go in and bunk with my son until he falls asleep and he's usually there until morning now, unless he has a nightmare or gets sick, etc. DD is still in our bed. and when my DH snores, he visits the couch because DS can't handle the snoring either now!
