Why should israel get a pass from the west on being an ethno-state? No other western country is one and that is what people find distasteful.

Integrate the Palestinians, be a democracy, give them the same rights under a secular constitution. is that so hard?

They don't get much of a pass. The pass they get is based on the fact that when the nukes start going off , Israel is the only friend we have in that part of the Earth that can do anything to help us.  It's national defense , which is governments first responsibility .[/quote]
