They don't get much of a pass. The pass they get is based on the fact that when the nukes start going off , Israel is the only friend we have in that part of the Earth that can do anything to help us. It's national defense , which is governments first responsibility .

You are kidding right? they get tons of political cover in the US from both parties.
Your reasoning is the same reasoning we had in propping up mubarak for so long in egypt or supporting the saud royals - they may be cunts but atleast they are 'our cunts'.

So you are equating israel to eastern states? Israel is always touted as having 'western values'.

Likud's charter is also dedicated to expelling Palestinians and annexing West Bank and Gaza, as well as aggressive settlement-building.

That said, have you seen the videos of Palestinians rushing to the rooftops of buildings with their kids after Israel warned them to evacuate?
Maybe they have seen the video put out by Israel that's been playing on their news?
In it they show how they make huge efforts to spare life; a man is seen on the roof top of a building about to be attacked, and the command says: civilian on roof top- abort! And the person on the trigger says; confirm, civilian on roof top, abort, move on to next target.
