Just go read a LITTLE about the conflict and how it started.  The UN Resolution 181 gave two states: one Arab and one Jewish.  The Arabs couldn't stand the idea of the Jews having their own country and decided collectively to attack the new country.  They asked the Arabs to leave so they could get the job done and then they could come back.  Didn't work out too well for them though.

"New Israel" ?  I know you didn't mean it to be insulting, but think of it this way:  Why don't we just send all of the (insert Native American tribe name here) to Africa?  They have a lot of land and I'm sure they would be happy there.  No, thanks, Jews have been in the region for over 4000 years and I really don't see why anyone should accede to the whims of anti-semitic terrorists [/quote]
