The rape scene was not a rape scene but consensual in the book for one, and even though he pushes Bran in the beginning- you start to feel that Jamie has done everything in his life till this point- all for Cersei and his love for her (however inappropriate) and now he is beginning to realize she doesn't do the same for him...[/quote] Jaime becomes more like Brienne during their journey south as Arya becomes more like the Hound during their journey north. It's an interesting parallel in the books that was omitted b/c they weren't simultaneous on the show.[/quote]
