The school we are doing costs an arm and a leg, so I wouldn't say this is typical.  We do it because it is close to our home (so good logistics) and is a true preschool (with trained/educated teachers) that has an aftercare component.  [/quote]

Sure, some people are ignorant, but probably not the dozens of couples with multiple graduate degrees who choose to send their kids there. Fortunate, yes. Entitled, maybe. Ignorant, no.[/quote]
