Stop projecting.  This is what is wrong with parenting today.  Too many people think kids with problems means they have a medical issue.  OP's DD is being irresponsible and not handling adulthood well, let's not have OP think that her DD has a medical issue.[/quote]

It's not projecting, it's doing a world-view of a bad situation.

Eliminate or treat the possibility of a medical issue while addresses the behavior issues.

Bottom line this is an adult, you can't force her to do anything. All the more reason to do these gently. Otherwise you will have a kid on the street or with a man taking advantage of her.[/quote]
