One of my kids did not go to preschool at all and the others spent a half day two or three times a week in preschool. None of them ever behaved as these kids are behaving in K and we never encountered such behavior from other children. OP, even with conferences being next week, you might want to send an email to the teacher ahead of time describing the situation in the detail you have described it here. That way she has a heads up and can make an effort to find out what's going on before you talk to her.
