The only thing that makes sense is that the video was a "red herring" for the American people to distract them from the real issues.
It's very good that you bring this up. What were the real issues?
That there was a terrorist attack on the anniversary of 9/11/2012 that the President and his Administration did not prepare for, and tried to cover up after the fact so they would not harm the election. That's at the very least. Where WAS the President on this evening after 5:30 PM?
Here is the flaw in your analysis: How many people on September 12 were thinking this to themselves? "I am undecided on the election. I have no opinion about Obamacare, taxes, abortion, gay rights, withdrawing from Afghanistan, or the situation in Iran. But what will really help me make up my mind is whether the attack in Benghazi was an "Act of Terror" or an "Act of Terrorism. That's the issue that's really important to me." How many people do you think were in that boat? The attack on Benghazi was a non-factor in the campaign. Romney was so desperate at that point that he stayed up past midnight on Sept. 11 to condemn Obama for siding with the enemy and made one of his biggest blunders of the campaign.
