The PH house is nice because it is new and in a convenient spot.  The schools are actually reasonable, and you can walk to Tysons  (are we not supposed to say that word here?)  if you wanted to, now that there are (GASP!) sidewalks.

Not many people can afford new, as you can tell from this board, so why not buy new where it is convenient and safe?  Having seen PH over the last few years, it is turning over very rapidly, and will be mostly new houses before too long.

In fact, most of the close in areas are going this route, to the dismay of the old house owners.  They can't stop change, whether they like it or not!   No matter where you live, the old houses will resent the new houses. Not that they would admit this.

Funny, I've never known stupid people to live in new houses; how do you think they got where they are?  Not by being dumb.

And have you SEEN some of those so called "additions"?  No thank you.
