No, he would NOT be the father. A father is a person who partakes in the raising of a child. He's not doing that. The child would have 2 parents to raise him/her. In this case, those parent would be the 2 moms.

The husband would be a sperm donor. And because he is the brother of one of the moms, he'd also be an uncle.

Stop getting so hung up on genetic material. Kids need unconditional love, comfort and security. The are plenty of kids who know exactly who their biological parents are and would gladly give up that knowledge just to have a safe home where their parents truly love, cherish and care for them.
