I'm a "I never pick him up" poster. I'm mid 40s too. Both of us grew up in big European cities and didn't drive either. You know what I did out of love? I learned to drive..so I could pick him up at the airport when he came back from 6 months of deployment overseas. But these days, 20 years later, no, I don't pick him up at the airport, particularly not when he can expense the ride at the end of a work trip. [/quote]
