I don't travel for work, so the free part doesn't apply, but I was traveling out of town relatively often to care for a sick parent out of state. I'm fine with uber, and took ubers from the airport to my parent's, but I will admit that the few times someone picked me up, it was nice to see a friendly face, and have company on the ride.
