My experience with immersion in general is that families who are excited about the language really like it. Some families do it more on a lark and although that can work out great, it doesn’t always. IMO you have to be committed to helping your child in the language (even if you don’t speak it — that’s okay) because they will need lots of support finding reading material, etc. You need to trust the process and understand and accept that English language learning is taking a back seat for now. If that doesn’t sounds uncomfortable, the program might not be right for you.[/quote]
