He thought private school education costs were getting too high so people should explore public options where they can get a private-school quality education at a public school price. That part is still relevant today. Vermont was in the original list 40 years ago, but Vermont has lagged in investing in higher education, and UVM is fairly heavily dependent on OOS students to make the finances work. [/quote]
