52, never dyed my hair. My hair is about 50%n grey now and I don’t plan to start coloring it. I can’t stand the maintenance it requires, same with getting my nails done at a salon. I guess I just have to roll with it. So be it.
I think there's a difference between going grey in your thirties and your fifties. I know some younger women embrace it, and good for them, but it's understandable not to want to show your grays in your thirties or even forties. You want to look the same age as your peers. That's normal.
PP here, I started having greys in my 20s and it progressed to my 40s where greys were very visible around my ears and foreheads. I guess I am just used to ppl commenting on my grey. Now at 52, it is simply taking over and progressing mic faster than before. I see a pic of me on my gym’s SM page. I feel I look old but I just can’t bring myself to start a coloring routine. I am not great w sticking to a beauty maintenance routine. It becomes a reminder that I am aging and that I am not ok w it, more than easing that mentality. So I chose to accept and move on to focus on other parts of my life that I can truly make a difference on, such as having a gym routine so I don’t fall and break my bones in 10 years.
