I don’t know if any of them has better people or administrative skills—CE is an admin position and has to coordinate a lot of different agencies in an efficient way, and manage issues when/if the agencies are dysfunctional. That’s probably a bigger part of the job than the policy stuff—don’t know if any of them would be better or worse at that part of the job.
Would love to see more collaboration between CE and councilmembers than we’ve seen recently
Then don't vote Jawando. He is an Elrich repeat. Elrich didn't work well with council members when he was on the council and hasn't worked well with them as CEX. Today's beat down of Jawando was over process -- his complete lack of working with his fellow councilmembers -- rather than about substance of his bill.
Perfect, the last thing I want is a rubber stamp of the council, and I certainly don’t want the architects and cheerleaders of Montgomery County upzoning (Friedson, Glass) to have any more of a voice.
NIMBY alert! NIMBY alert!
