[/quote] This, exactly. a 1590 is an exceptional SAT score. a 4.1 is not an exceptional GPA. The disconnect can make AOs think the kid didn't try/didn't care about classwork/grades. Not uncommon for smart boys to have lower grades in 9th and 10th and high grades once they reach 11th. [/quote]
