You are/were a much better mother to your only than you would’ve been otherwise.[/quote] I agree with this. The sibling and parental dynamics can create a lot of discord in a family. I do not regret my second, but I think my first would have been better off as an only. I favor the second because they are easier which creates a lot of hurt. I know this and felt it myself in my family of origin. Trying to do better and would miss having had my second, but sometimes I think it would have been better not to have had them. All moot, so just trying to do my best with what I've got.[/quote]
