Hello,

I am a current FS parent. The idea from the EngageDCPS posting did not come from a current parent. I would encourage folks speculating about this "merger" to do a little more fact finding about both schools before passing judgement. We are not trying to push for automatic enrollment to SWW, however, these postings seem to suggest that all FS students are not worthy. As a parent in the early childhood program, we really enjoy the relationships we've built with all students and would like to see all students succeed in their endeavors. Just like most folks on this listserv, we are waiting to learn of the details about this co-location/merger/whatever you want to call it.
