It's crazy to me how high profile the family estrangement is. Like with Harry you get why it wound up being public because their family is also the family business and also have these formal roles in Britain, so if Harry was going to nope out on being a "working royal" or whatever, for any reason, it was going to get tons of press and scrutiny, Meghan or no.

But Nicola and Brooklyn and even Victoria and David are under nowhere near that level of scrutiny. They could have kept this fairly quiet if they'd all been a bit more circumspect about it, and at least not have had a bunch of strangers on the internet talking about their family issues. But everyone appears to be a bit, hmmm, drama prone.[/quote]
