She hustled in October by going to career services and recruitment events. Consulted with professors and made sure to follow up with every interview. By November, she had offers from three hotels in high-end resort towns here in the US. Took the one with the big name. When I'm feeling cranky about tuition or the long drive to Ithaca, I remind myself to feel grateful that my kid has been afforded access and opportunities because of where she is going to school.
