This is the most accurate answer from my experience.

And at a certain age, lots of men trade their sex drive for the ready opportunity to have a woman mother and nurse them, instead.

I will absolutely 100% not deny being grateful that I was ready for sex all the time in my 20s and early 30s with my then boyfriend who was, now that I look back at it, completely on the spectrum. I just didn't know what that looked like. But he would travel overnight Friday after his classes to the state where I lived just to have sex with me on a floor futon over 48 hours before heading back overnight Sunday for Monday classes.

Then we got married and we had a special needs kid and then two more.

Now (in our 60s) he's got someone else for that. She also packs his clothes, makes all their travel arrangements, heats up trays of things from catering places, does his laundry, drives him to work and home, supervises the housekeeping, personally cuts his hair and probably trims him in other places, laughs at his jokes and doesn't get upset when he only ever wants to watch the last ten minutes of any action movie "because that's when all the stuff happens" ... he's rich.

That's why I fully believe this. Women are more strategic when it comes to sex. Sex for intimacy and security.

We women bleed all the time and have to do childbirth and maybe breast-feed and stuff, but lots of men are slaves to their physical drives that I do not envy AT ALL.
