[/quote] What are "american values" exactly ... be specific please Even good athletic teams realize that you create the best teams by letting as many people onto "your team" as possible and then assigning them either defined roles at the start or at least letting them earn their way up through work and talent. This is why so many US prep schools have really laughably sub-par athletic teams (wait, sorry, except for sports like water polo and crew and field hockey and figure skating and skiing and ice hockey, where you need access and facilities) and the actual best athletes traditionally come out of large public schools in lower income areas, and other countries. Just like so much intellectual talent comes from other countries where education is more highly valued than it is in the US[/quote]
