NO. This administration does not support legal immigration. It has cut down the legal immigration of refugees down by 90%. And for the legal refugees here now, it has cut ALL food aid to adult refugees. So, no, this administration does not support legal immigration at all.

I think it’s probably worth considering if you’re able to get out now, while you’re still allowed/encouraged to.

At some point next year, theres going to be a shift in the narrative - away from remigration and towards scapegoating and incarceration. After next year, immigrants will begin getting rounded up on a massive scale, unlike we’re seeing right now, and at that point, you will NOT be allowed to leave.

Even good athletic teams realize that you create the best teams by letting as many people onto "your team" as possible and then assigning them either defined roles at the start or at least letting them earn their way up through work and talent.

This is why so many US prep schools have really laughably sub-par athletic teams (wait, sorry, except for sports like water polo and crew and field hockey and figure skating and skiing and ice hockey, where you need access and facilities) and the actual best athletes traditionally come out of large public schools in lower income areas, and other countries.

Just like so much intellectual talent comes from other countries where education is more highly valued than it is in the US

this is slightly batshit BUT- I think that countries being willing to take these American-hyphen will close their doors. The mass amount of migration is a policy of oligarchs in developing nations, they want floods of their poor, tired hungry, yearning to breathe free to leave so that they can buy their property on the cheap and basically terrorize everyone. If the flood turns back- a lot of these countries will slam the doors. they do NOT want massive amounts of americans with their ideas about freedom, justice, hard work etc coming to ruin their gravy train Neo feudalist way of life and if enough of us "remigrate" we wont assimilate- we will try to change the way these countries and societies function.

Italy has already amended its pathway for citizenship through ancestry b/c of so many americans. 45% of americans are now eligible for eu citizenship but this pathways will slam shut. also many people are in the USA b/c they are persecuted and face death if they go back- Samin Nusrat cant go back to Iran, Atif Mian (Princeton professor of economics) cant move back to Pakistan, Tan France cant move "back" (he's British and the same remigration debate is happening over there) to Pakistan, my family moved here b/c someone stabbed one family member and 2 others were lynched for challenging the feudal system in rural Sindh by providing medical care and pathway to debt free education. I do still own considerable land there but cant read the local language, I actually have never been there and the ppl who lease my land dont want me to come and visit either. I cant imagine what they'd say if I showed up and moved there and started asking questions!
