My daughter was really sad about the way it ends, because she wanted the two leads to stay together. Of course it has to be heteronormative in the end, but it would’ve been great if it was a happy ending Thelma and Louise type of vibe at the end. Like Glinda manages to convince the people of Oz that Morrible was the evil one, and then paves the way for Elphaba to come back and she and Glenda govern Oz together.

Cynthia and Ariana are insanely talented singers. I have so much respect for their talent. I don’t know what’s going on with them during their press appearances, and they both definitely need a sandwich. But as far as the performances, they are fantastic.[/quote]
