I feel that Caroline got the brunt as last of the family standing.  It is her bad fortune as it is her entire family who didn't make it.  She made it but I'm not sure being the only one was really all that lucky.  So sad.

Quite a few of them did get away with bad decisions —See Chappaquiddick. Or Patrick Kennedy. And likely hundreds of other incidents we’ll never hear about. [/quote]

If you read biographies on JFK Jr., there were many instances of risky behavior where he escapes harm.  I’m sure there was some type of psychological reason behind this- perhaps he had a death wish or maybe he thought he was invincible.  His behavior was bound to catch up with him at some point.[/quote]
